Now is the best time to register for the Ninth North American Agroforestry Conference, June 12-15, 2005 at Rochester, Minnesota. Early registration discounts are available until January 31 for the three-day meeting, entitled Moving Agroforestry into the Mainstream. You can save $25 by registering before the end of January, compared to regular registration rates offered from February 1 through May 2. AFTA members are entitled to an additional discount on fees.
How to Register
The easiest way to register is to visit the conference website, complete the online registration form and pay by credit card. If you don�t wish to pay online, you can also download a printed registration form to mail with your check to the conference host, the Center for Integrated Natural Resources and Agricultural Management (CINRAM) at the University of Minnesota.
Registration fees entitle participants to receive the program with abstracts, the proceedings on CD-ROM, full participation in the conference, including the Sunday evening welcome reception and Wednesday field trip, and lunches and break refreshments during the conference.

Accommodations
The conference venue will be the Kahler Grand Hotel, 20 SW Second Ave., Rochester, MN 55902. The special daily room rates (not including taxes) for conference attendees are $75/night (king bed or two double beds) and $44/night for a smaller, economy room (one double bed). These rates will be honored for three days before and after the conference (based on availability).

Travel to Rochester
Rochester is located in southeastern Minnesota, on I-90 approximately 80 miles southeast of Minneapolis / St. Paul, and 70 miles west of La Crosse, WI. Two airlines serve Rochester daily with regular flights: American Airlines (800-433-7300) and Northwest Airlines (800-225-2525).
For greater flight selection, you can fly into Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) which is served by more than 18 domestic and international carriers. From that airport, you can catch Rochester Direct, (800) 280-9270, a shuttle service with eleven daily departures between MSP and Rochester.
